get to know us.

What we believe.

We believe that God is comprised of the Father, God in heaven who sent his son to pay the price for our sins; Son, Jesus Christ, born of a virgin, who lived a sinless life; Holy Spirit, gift from God to guide us until Jesus' return.

(Matt. 28:19; Matt. 1:18-20; 2 Cor. 5:21; 1 Peter 2:22; John 10:30; John 1:1, 14; 2 Cor. 5:19; Luke 24:49; John 14:16, 17; Acts 1:4, 5, 8; Acts 2:1-4)

We believe in the infallible, verbal inspiration of the whole Bible and that the Bible is the all-sufficient rule of faith and practice

(Psalm 119:160; 2 Tim. 3:16, 17)

We believe that man was created in the image of God and was innocent until falling to temptation at which point man left a sinless state which resulted in all of mankind being sinners.

 (Gen. 1:26; Gen. 3:6-24; Rom. 5:12, 19)

We believe that the depraved sinner is saved wholly by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and the requisites to regeneration are repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

(Luke 13:3-5; John 3:16-18; Acts 20:21; Rom. 6:23; Eph. 2:8, 9)

We believe that love one for another as Jesus loves the believer manifests our discipleship, proves our love for God and symbolizes our authority as New Testament churches. Love is, therefore, the great commandment of the LORD Jesus Christ upon which all others are dependent.

(Matt. 22:35-40; John 13:34, 35; John 15:12; 1 John 4:7-21; 1 John 5:1-3; Rev. 2:4, 5)

Where we meet.

Brad's house.

Thrive Student Ministries is grateful to the Glynn and Kim Fulmer family for our student center on campus. “Brad’s House” received its name in memory of the Fulmer’s son, Brad Norris. Brad was a student at the university who was killed in 2008 by a drunk driver. He was traveling south on I-540 when a drunk driver struck Brad’s vehicle as the driver was traveling on the wrong side of the interstate. Not only does the property hold a great value to the ministry in which Brad was a founding member, but it holds a great value to the family and friends of Brad Norris who gave their money and time to create a ministry center in his name. Brad was a great son, brother, and friend. Above all, he was a dedicated Christian who took the responsibility of sharing Christ with others to heart.

who we are.

University of Arkansas Students

We are a group of college students who love God. We are using the time we have right now to grow closer to God and each other through disciplines like reading the bible, praying, and fellowship. We believe the practices we pursue in college will set us on a path for our futures.  And finally, we want you to join us!
